Each new day brings the promise of endless possibilities, spent in the pursuit of your own happiness, guiltless with the knowledge that there are no longer earthly constraints to inhibit you. This is the life you have always wanted. Welcome to your new beginning..." Akropolis is a city at the end of times, a sanctuary where the brightest and best have been housed since the last Great War. A genome defect has afflicted the majority of the population and scientists are desperate to find a cure. In the meantime, man has found his own salvation in the form of the QUBIT (quantum processing bio-synthetic), an android that is capable of prolonging life almost indefinitely, and yet what makes them human in the first place has been lost in the transition. The ruling council believes that salvation is nigh, but whether that hope arrives in time is questionable. The city's future depends upon the actions of a few individuals, all of whom are struggling with their own mortality. Quentin is the boy who dreams of death. Mia is the tortured soul. Trey is the soldier that defines duty. Misao is the future of the ruling council. Claire is the girl with a secret that will rock the foundations of their entire civilization. Unbeknownst to them, the entire fate of Akropolis lies in their hands. Either humanity will find a way to survive or it will sink slowly into the sea of extinction.

I glared at the man in all black as the light continued to beam and blind me. Without my glasses it was actually painful. And then there was silence. He's almost done playing and testing VR games, but this one could be his final chance to - truly - level up. What can it promise to him, and all its very first 'pioneers'? 'Fountellion'...is said to be 'natural' game-world, a N.E.P. world (Naturally-Evolving PermaWorld) full of artificial life that mimics the laws of our own natural world, with its shaping force of evolution. The game promises to be more than an open-world survival experience, for there are seven 'Insights' scattered and every player can find their own path to them. A complete vision of a 'metaverse' design which overgrows or salvages addicted players? There is only one way to find out: Tune in and experience Dan's 'avalogs'. A robot that dreams has the power to upheave societal norms and thoughts about an androids place in society. The doctor, in need of assistance with his underground drug dealing business, sends Julian to deliver a highly dangerous and addictive designer drug to his clients. However, Julian gets caught by a doctor when he is sent to the hospital and is found to have a human brain inside him. Determined to figure out wether he is human or machine, Julian seeks out researcher Doctor Thomas Walker and his partner Doctor Hayley Auburn-the people who made him. But it begs the question: should he be treated as machine, or human? After waking up for the first time since his training, the Android longingly and respectively looks upon an old marble carving of Julius Cesar, naming himself Julian in respect of the statuesque ruler. Julian then unlocks a personality trait of arrogance and superciliousness that makes his doctor question his true nature of Android or human. What happens to Julian when he finds the love of his life, proving Mother Nature wrong about androids being incapable of love? Will he survive in the crime ridden lost city in the desert, or will he perish, dying as a long forgotten history to be burred beneath the sea?
