The Marauders, 1975
For Remus Lupin and Sirius Black, the summer holidays were endless. The happier they are when its finally time to return to Hogwarts. The school that feels more like home to the Marauders than any other place in the world. But between the brilliant pranks and magically boring lessons aren't only painful full moons and that they start to see each other with different eyes: A war is raging outside the walls of the castle, which now seems to have finally arrived at the institute.

These are stories of love, friendship, family, and sometimes pain that shape the Marauders during their final years at Hogwarts and beyond. Most of what you are about to read was written around three years ago during a difficult period in my life. I won't go into the details of such things here, but I can say that writing about the Marauders, often daily at the time, was an escape for me and what was initially a plan for a cohesive second installment of my "Mirror Moon" story quickly changed into something that resembled a collection of moments. I figured I'd never be able to share it because the story doesn't run smoothly, but when I opened the document today and saw that I'd written over 170,000 words, I knew that I needed to comb through it and find the individual stories within. All I hope is that these stories can bring you joy, entertainment or even just a short escape as they did for me all those years ago.

Everyone deserves a second chance
Sirius did something that he would never ever ever do, but he did it anyway. He broke Remus and his own heart, and as his world is slowly crumbling around him, he has to pick it all back up again single handed. After pulling "the prank" against Snape in his fifth year, he doesn't realize how much his actions would hurt Remus and he can't stop them until it's much too late to do anything about it. One last year

Maybe he was too focused on his book or he was just a brat. ,,Ok then." the girl sitting down in front of him. She just started staring out of the window. It's only them two. No talking. But maybe sometimes thoughts say more then words. No one would have believed if I would tell you that these two little kids are gonna become best friends. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ this is a love story. or is it? this story takes place in the 70's, but in a gay version, so most people accept and support gay rights. Attending a school meant for kids with rights he'd never have, Remus never considered socializing as an option, as a need of survival for 7 years in one of the most famous Wizarding schools in the Wizarding World. He carried classical books, normally cooped up in his bed in the attic, reading adventure stories or diaries of people who were abnormal, people who were placed in other world's and gave him the idea of what bravery looked like. Shelves of books expanded over his wall, as if they had been planted as seeds and grown by virtue of the sunlight that filled the attic room. His books were his friends, his books were his lover, his book were his personality, his books were his comfort zone. Remus' suitcase for Hogwarts was mostly covered in fragile books, the paint peeling off the covers as the binding bended easily from all the days of being read. He didn't consider this as odd - simply as bringing your friends along. It all started off as an act kindness... Remus never planned for it to turn out the way it did. He was the boy's shield and sword, guiding him as they walked a path together. He didn't plan on the boy having his own sword. He didn't plan on the boy swinging it at him. He never planned on receiving death by a thousand cuts. 〰・❦・〰

She was tired, she was so bloody tired of it all. From the constant nagging and picking and pulling to the waking up at 6 am everyday to do that stupid crap. She didn't think it was stupid really, she just didn't like having to do it. She didn't really like having to do schoolwork either, but she found herself to be fond of the teachers and the curriculums. Most of all though, she didn't mind being at school all too much because it kept her away from the house. She found James to be nice, and Sirius to be troublesome, Peter was quite thoughtful, but Remus, he was kind to her. She had found that Remus was her favorite of them all, he was really very kind to her. What she had really come to see though, was the fact that he had scars too, and that meant they matched. Mature content. There are certain parts of this story that I will put a trigger warning before but you should keep cautioun when reading because I mention a lot of triggering things and topics in this book including self harm, abuse, mental illnesses etc. Also, the first year is really shitty writing and like the first part of fourth but I swear it gets so much better. I just haven't gotten around to editing the bad bits yet :( Credit to J.K. Rowling for the characters and parts of the plot and obviously Hogwarts fandom and Everything Harry Potter related.
