Cinderpelt sniffed at a leaf Leafkit had brought to show her. She could sense the happiness coming off the small, light brown tabby she-cat in large waves. " Hmm. . . This smells like. . Comfrey leaves, but, sadly, the leaves aren't very important Leafkit. What you want to be looking for is there stems," she purred, happy with the kit's curiosity of all the herbs and berries. Leafkit's eyes widened, trying to memorize what the dark grey she-cat had just told her. Even if she could never be a warrior- due to her crippled leg from when she got ran over by a monster (car) -Cinderpelt was the best medicine cat in history to her. "Yes Cinderpelt, I'll remember next time I see one. I promise!"Leafkit mewed quietly, her mind buzzing. Cinderpelt flicked her tail toward the door to the Medicine den, signaling for the small kit to leave. As soon as Leafkit realized what she meant the kit scampered out of the den. That is what has been passed down from generations. Not every tale has to end like that: StarClan saving everyone with the chosen cat, everyone loving the hero or heroine - but it always does. So facing a challenge such as missing cats shouldn't be a challenging task. Moons pass on, cats keep disappearing faster and faster; nobody is doing anything to prevent the case. Everyone is relying on StarClan to send the prophecy to their medicine cat, just hoping that one day, the fiasco will end. Yet that's not the way fear works its way into hearts. Warriors, once brave and strong, now cowering behind one another. Apprentices with their eagerness to learn, now afraid of the outside world and going missing.
