Alin Forest showed signs of magic ever since she turned 1. An early age the wizards around her family said, but it was only expected of her. She was the only daughter of Mr and Mrs Forest, one of the most prestigious families in the wizarding world; followed by the Malfoys. Both families had known each other since their fame begun and, due to their proximity, they met regularly for lunch and breakfast. One summer, when their kids had already reached the age of 11, they decided to present them and reminded them what was expected of them once they left for Hogwarts School of Which craft. {This was first published in Ao3}

(Y/n) (Y/l/n). A 5th year Hogwarts student. 16 years old. A Gryffindor and a muggle-born. Very kind, very nice, and very very lonely. Severus Snape. A Hogwarts teacher. The Potions Master. She began attempting civil conversations with him after class. At first to no avail, but the astute Professor soon realized she wasn't going to give up, so he gave in. He soon grew fond of the girl, and something, most unlikely occurred...they became friends. Or at least, (Y/n) felt they did. Snape on the other hand...never seemed to understand. Now, with (Y/n) maturing (and of age), and Severus oblivious to feelings, would there friendship continue? Or would something...more happen between them?
