A diligent bookworm, Everlee found her adventures in the pages of a book rather than the real world so when the time came, she was ready for the adventure of a lifetime-death. Maddox is death. He's been in the business for 200 years so he's not an amateur. He is distant as he believes this is the only way he can efficiently collect souls. He is quite good at his job. He considers himself the master at transitioning souls into the afterlife. However, Emotions are dangerous to Maddox. Mortals are even more dangerous to Maddox.
