KLAUDIA ST. PHILIPS, 31, 5'10, with curves and a posture showing pride in her strides, is the second female full Partner, ever, at the prestigious Carter & Gines Legal Firm. Her current residence in Buckhead, Texas is where she meets and falls head over heels in lust with a 6'3, 217 pounds narcissist; super sexy ass GENISON ST. MARCUS, a 34 year old Master Chef baking and banking as an entrepreneur. She's officially fed up with his unwarrantedly pulling husband moves under 'boyfriend' status, and while preparing and serving him his last supper, she boldly confronts him about her obvious heartache. In the midst of pouring her heart out, he exits the kitchen, then the house, to go enjoy the comfort of an earlier phone call. Her vehicle runs smooth out of gas, a mile from the nearest gas station; this muthafuccer here (meaning Genison)! With the wind and rain increasing in frequency, so is her determination to teach his ass, they ass, everybody's ass a solid lesson; knowing that the nails being thrown are only to nail coffins shut. The fire in her heart, is now burning in her soul and having tried and cried over and over, she comes up with a master plan. First, she'd pray to God for forgiveness, then she'd back up Karma with fiery adjectives for the this' and the thats'; unpacking all kinds of emotional shit. Her issue with co-worker Fergason about his out loud narcissism. Her issue with her parent's first born about her finances. And her issue with her mortgage company for not honoring her paid in full of $178,409; because her husband passed away in the gold-enveloped restroom waiting to sign final paperwork. Stephen an investigator for the State and Felicity, the whore who sexually intrigued her into being absent-minded. Jesus was working on Genison, and unbeknownst to Klaudia's scriptural ignorance, not knowing she was simply a necessary Judas. BOOM! Was the last clear sound Klaudia heard, before the smell of metal invaded her nostril.

What if it came to the starkest of all choices: kill, or else suffer the loss of a loved one? Readers' comments: 'simply the best', 'one of the best books I've read', 'loved it', 'amazing', 'great reading', 'stumped me to the very end' and others Plot: When a pregnant doctor is brutally murdered in her own kitchen, the husband claims to have some weeks earlier received an anonymous and darkly menacing letter. For the small town of Ravensby, it's just the start of a living nightmare - one in which nobody is spared from the murderous cross hairs, and which will drive Detective Inspector Kubič to the edge of his own sanity... Genre: suspense/thriller Status: completed Length: 70,000 words (approx. 275 standard novel pages) Target readership: Though aimed primarily at adults, the novel features several teenage characters and so may also appeal to a younger audience Extract: "Warn you sir, not a pretty sight in there." Kubič took a deep, preparatory breath, his footsteps slow and leaden as he moved towards the kitchen door. Not for the first time over the years, he found himself wishing he'd chosen an entirely different sort of career. Paper-pushing, something out of doors. Anything at all. He'd always been reasonable enough at woodwork back at school, he recalled. Why hadn't he done that, he thought? Become a cabinet maker or some damn thing. A reluctant hand pushed open the door... "Oh dear Christ." The words escaped his mouth forcefully, involuntarily, like blood gushing from an open wound
