After the war, Megumi the Kitsune had started to try and figure out who she was and who she wanted to be.
Sonic had taken off not soon after they had won the battle against Infinite and Eggman. No-one had heard from him since.
With nowhere to go and no family, Megumi didn't have much of a choice but to stay with the resistance. She quickly climbed the ranks with the help of Esipo, Shadow and Knuckles training her. And soon became one of the top commanders and Knuckles personal go to for advice.
It's been over a year now, and things have started to be oddly calm. Badniks still roamed around, but that wasn't much of a problem. It's not until Tails gets a strange spike of magically energy on his radar that things slowly start to spin out of control.
Can Megumi keep her own magic in check? Or will things begin to spiral out of control again? Will Sonic ever show his face again? Or is he locked away somewhere undetectable to the resistance?

But why? What happened? As far as they recall, it's been business as usual, but still they find Sonic just isn't himself. Sonic Boom: Travels (Shadora)
Life starts out exciting for a pink hedgehog by the name of Aurora when she sets out on her own for the first time at the age of 20. The only downside to this is an extremely over-protective dad (Sonic) who constantly worries about the most ridiculous things happening to you, and the mom (Amy Rose) always pushes to set you free when it's time. Everything changes for Aurora and a black hedgehog named Shadow when they crash into each other at Shadow Canyons. Aurora is in awe that she is with her longtime fantasy crush, and so is Shadow when he sees that he finally meets her again from his last trip through time. The two hedgehogs train each other for future challenges, until the death of Amy Rose occurs. Devastated, Aurora goes out to search for the Chaos Emeralds to save all the dimensions in existence (later figuring out she has to do more), figure out more about her powers, and to find Shadow's missing ex-girlfriend. They meet a sprite, a loyal wolf, a resistance, a young bat, a twist-hearted meerkat, and twin hedgehogs that share similarities with Shadow and Aurora. Throughout the journey, they all learn the power of teamwork, making Shadow feel unsure since what happened on Space Colony ARK and the last fiasco teaming up with Eggman. Shadow and Aurora get closer throughout the mission, but will they remain strong? Will they work together to accomplish the pink hedgehog's promise to her deceased BFF and mother? Why would Shadow team up with Aurora and their "friends"? Could it be to reach destiny, or true love? Who knows what'll happen next? What would Sonic think of all of this? So many questions. I just thought that Skyline looked cool and the comic was pretty cool so I wanted to make my own spin in the story, so please enjoy) Sonic never thought he'll ever go on adventures and travel to other sky islands, but that all changed when he met Dr.Eggman, a human from the ground who wants to help Mobius be a better place.
