Writer's introductory note:
Hi everyone. If you have stumbled your way across this story, you are likely a fan of "The Good Doctor" and especially Neil Melendez & Claire Browne. This is my version of an alternate ending, of season 3. This is for everyone who, like me, finds refuge in such beautiful love stories like Melendaire, as an escape. Neil & Claire own an irreplaceable place in my heart and this story is my love for them, worded and put together, for you all. Writing this gave me peace as I convinced myself of a different story for them (from the one we got which I will personally never acknowledge), and I hope this alternate ending, reminds you of them in happy and peaceful ways.
