Cassie heard the footsteps again. It was getting closer. She held her breath and tightened her grip on the scissors as she pressed herself more into the side of the bed. She was doomed and she knew it. There was a stranger in her house,who was in no doubt there to hurt her. She had left her phone downstairs and only had a pair of scissor to defend herself.
She shut her eyes and took a few deep breaths,then her breath hitched.
Whatever it was in that house with her was now in her room.................
