Eight hundred years ago the capital had fallen into darkness and despair but thanks to the legendary assassin guild known as Night Raid, order was restored and the world experienced an age of peace that lasted hundreds of years. 
But after eight centuries of peace the capital has once again fallen into the darkness of corruption and now its up to a new generation of assassins to form a new night raid in order to save the capital from it's corrupted ruler, Hirce Hajime the mad emperor.
