In a world where the dead are once more walking the Earth, finding someone that you can trust with your life isn't always an easy task.
When Elizabeth is separated from her two best friends at the beginning of the zombie outbreak, she finds safety in the form of a troubled man who asks to be referred to as simply 'Bastard.' Although he is cold and angry with the world, he lends her a hand when she needs one most.
As the two continue their journey with the sole purpose of finding their friends, they discover two things: one, that things will never return to the way they once were, and two, that the most important thing they have in this world is each other.
