This a story about a girl recovering from the death of her best friend. It's about the events that took place after, that changed her life forever. It's about Charlotte's struggle to let her emotions out. It's about her trying to face reality.

When Charlotte Rose Evers' best friend, Rebecca dies due to cancer, her world crumples apart. Her other best friend, long time crush and Rebecca's brother: Caleb too starts to hate her due to one simple timing error. She no longer has her best friends and due to her depression, her other friends and her sister too start to distance themselves from her. Soon, she is being bullied by the queen bee Stephanie Reynolds herself.
When Char thinks her life cannot get any worse, Caleb returns. She should be happy that he has and she was, until she finds out that her younger sister Jenna has a crush on Caleb.

Then Zachary Preston, the ultra hot rich obnoxious prick whom she cannot stand puts for an offer she can't refuse. An offer to help her recover and return back to the confident and powerful beauty she used to be, whilst attempting to convince Caleb that she wasn't at fault and win the trust of her sister.
