ØVERVIEW:

Desire.

What a dangerous thing to want.

A word.
Just a word-
but it bleeds.

It stains the soul like ink spilled in water. It spreads fast, quietly, until everything is dark.

Desires.
They lead people into the abyss, whispering promises into trembling ears.
They tempt.
They rot.

It doesn't matter who you are.

Human.
Demon.
Angel.

All fall.
All crave.
All lose.

Even I.

Even me.

I wasn't even born and I wanted.
I wanted too much.
I wanted something so selfish it made the stars cry.

I wanted to live.

Not for power. Not for glory. Not for vengeance.
Just-to exist.
To breathe.
To feel sunlight that never belonged to me.
To matter.

And so fate-cruel, merciless, wild-shifted.
Bent.
Twisted itself into a story I didn't ask to be written into.

And now-

Now I am wrapped in this place, this empty forever, this cradle of shadows.

Eternal Darkness.

My first home. My only home.

A space where silence sings lullabies made of bone and memory.
A place where I was always meant to stay.

So why-
why-
am I clawing at the edges?
Why am I looking back?

Why do I ache for a light I was never meant to touch?

Why do I dream of something I cannot name, someone I cannot reach?

Why do I feel like I'm no longer part of this place?

And then I realize-

It's you.

You, with your chaos and your warmth.
You, with your voice that sounds like rescue.

You are not my home.
You are where my home has gone.

And I?

I belong to wherever you are.
