Kiara is an abused teenage girl who looks for ways to stay hopeful for the future. Things are grim until she meets twin siblings Emily and Dakota Whitman. They reteach her about friendship and the many forms of love. When her father forbids Kiara from ever talking to the twins again, her faith in her future is tested.
