As the sun set over the sprawling estate of billionaire inventor, Richard Sinclair, police cars pulled up to the front gates. Inside the mansion, Richard's body lay motionless on the floor, and the detectives on the scene immediately knew that something wasn't right.
As they searched the mansion for clues, they discovered a secret laboratory hidden away in the basement, filled with strange and advanced technology. It quickly became apparent that Richard was working on something big, something that he wanted to keep hidden from the world.

As they began their hike, the hikers noticed that the forest seemed different somehow. The trees were twisted and gnarled, and the wildlife was eerily silent. As they approached the mansion, they felt a sense of dread wash over them.
