The Masquerade

Rainbow Steve is a hero. Not a leader. Nightmare Steve is a villain. Not a lover. They're sworn enemies. Rivals. That's just common sense. And each long for something deep in their hearts, something that, if acted upon, would bring everything they've ever worked towards to dust and ashes.

But when an undercover mission goes awry, and a flurry of emotions impulsively set in motion the promise of a second time, our pair somehow find themselves falling deeply and hopelessly in Love; and in it, everything their hearts have ever wanted. But there's a problem: Rainbow doesn't know that it's Nightmare who he's fallen for.

Torn between keeping the secret that's tearing him apart and longing to be loved for who he is, Nightmare Steve knows that he has to make a choice. And he has to make it soon. For as suspicion grows on both sides, lines of tension threaten to break, and the two are pushed even further apart, one thing becomes clear: They are running out of time.

And Nightmare Steve can't keep waltzing this masquerade forever.
