Chuuya (16)was sent to America for a job which would take around a year and dazai was also sent but he was only sent to keep an eye on chuuya's progress and can for a week every month to check. After the entire audio incident chuuya/jake goes back to Japan cutting ties completely with his "friends" .

Everyone was shocked to find out he left for Japan and that he was just staying in the sterling household and not is not really jake sterling and that there supposed friend jake sterling was not a real person but a fake name and he had stayed there for rent .
