Izuku Midoriya committed suicide - well at least attempted to. Being pushed over the edge by his childhood best friend turned bully - Katsuki Bakugo. 
He thought he died, but finds himself in a state of limbo, a place between life and death. He encounters a masked man, and makes a decision that will change the world forever.
