Jørgen is a wolf who seems to be the one life loves to hate. His mother died when he was young and every canid around him blames him for her death. Only his father and few others seem to actually care for him. But the world continues to push him down and crush his spirit. One day he can't take it anymore and runs into the frozen tundra to die. But perhaps what could bring his death may spark new life. Will these conditions kill and fully crush him, or forge him into someone that will survive despite everything? The strongest steel is forged by the hottest flames Edited by Funnifrog Warning: Heavy bullying, abandonment issues, attempted suicide, some blood, semi-depression, violence, and hopefully not horrible Norwegian accents Book 1 of Wild Heart Chronicles

[COMPLETE] (Please note: If you're looking for something that has a happy ending and leaves you feeling inspired, then I regret to say that this story is not it. In fact, it is more likely to have the opposite effect - my apologies. I will also warn you that it is very angsty and also frankly, at least to my current feelings, cringey - you can blame teenage me for that) Meet Ebony Lockheart, a suicidal, depressed teenager, who wants nothing more than to end her suffering. One day, searching in the forest for a way to snuff out her painful existence, she stumbles across a mirror. But it is no ordinary mirror. For where her reflection ought to be... she sees a wolf.
