Distractions have always gotten the best of Marinette. One day a distraction leads to her plummeting to her death off of a building, but luckily a certain cat stops her free fall. This single action sets off a chain of events, each one worse than the last. Paris assumes Chat Noir has a new girlfriend, Chat assumes she jumped on purpose. Hawkmoth assumes he found Chat's weakness. One lie after another is spilled forth, leading Marinette to become Hawkmoth's new favorite target, but what happens when Marinette gets pushed too far? Her first thought after seeing him was the akumatized version of him, Chat Blanc. She immediately brings him inside, making it her job to help him. She was not going to let her partner become her worst nightmare. He needed some place to feel safe? She would become that. It became an everyday thing. Chat Noir would visit Marinette every day, they would talk about their days as Chat tried to keep his as dense as possible to not reveal his identity. They would play video games and eat food from the bakery. But what happens when something happens to Marinette that makes her break? Marinette has no where to go so Chat decides to be that place.
