In a land divided by a catastrophe that took place two decades ago, where a Tower rises on the bridge between two realities, where the king is the main target of assassins, a criminal is called to the castle. She is placed there to protect the king and settle a debt made by her mentor. Without explanation, she is on her own with no choice but to do her job well if she is to understand and survive the danger which awaits at each and every step.

Her name is Celeste Hale.

The king's attitude isn't the only problem in her path, she has to work with the most dangerous enemy for people like her - an Illuminator Denarian. However, something evil lurks from the Tower, the place where two worlds meet and it threatens to break a delicate balance between light and darkness, between the two realities.
