Sweet 17 is about a 16year old girl named Maggie cowden, she's playing her 8th year of hockey but her 3d year playing for the same team - Jr Toronto leafs AAA16u - her parents weren't around a lot because her mother(alli) was a wedding photographer and her father(Jim) was a author which meant they weren't home a lot, she spent a lot of her time at hockey/school/alone and reading books! her childhood best friend Jack Hughes(17)and his family moved nexted door after not seeing each other do to a move. Maggie falls inlove with one of jacks friends that used to play hockey with him but he ends up breaking her heart which stirs up drama between the three.
