Jaune arc kicked out by the school, he suspected that Cardin ratted him out for his transcripts. but to his surprise, it wasn't him but someone else, his family and a few families who wanted to help Jaune gave him an alternative choice...  transfer to another school that professionally specializes in hunting both Grimm and Monster alike. 

He then left the academy and was automatically enrolled in another school for Witchers, hunters, Knights, and warrior nuns; Elysium Academy school of the four swords. There he learns to become a Slayer of the horrors lurking within Remnant's shadows. And hunts monsters, and the growing force of his enemies.

RWBY AU: Salem and Ozpin are immortal but Salem is not evil, but is the headmistress for Haven academy and her followers are not evil.
Grimms and monsters exist.

Now where was his family, well it turns out aside from never training him, they even had the gall to disown him despite everything he had done for them, they never encouraged him and they never helped him, he tried contacting them, but they had never responded. One day, a usual hellish day for Jaune, Glynda asks Jaune to face off against Cardin, he was initially been beaten nearly to death, as the crowd cheered for Cardin, Jaune looked around, seeing that everyone hated him, even his own former team cheered for his demise. Jaune's transcripts are revealed early after Cardin hears him tell Pyrrha about them, with this Jaune decides to distance himself from his team so they don't get ridiculed. This however leaves him alone with only verbal support by his team and friends, and he is forced to live outside the dorms for a bit. For a few months Jaune makes himself a home in the Forest of Beacon and due to some political nonsense he has to send his weapon back home, he has to use spare weapons from the armory at the school and learn how to use them. In no time he gets better and through training he catches up to his friends, but thats not all fate has in store for him as he would become more than just a man, he would become the 'Dark Knight' of Remnant.
