When Y/N was 17, she discovered Miss. Peregrine's loop. She had every intention on staying, seeing as she was a peculiar herself. After staying in the loop for a year, she realized her feelings for Miss. Peregrine were too deep, and she couldn't stay, so she did the only thing she knew how to do... She ran.
Y/N kept in contact with Olive and the other children over the years, but explicitly tells them not to let Miss. Peregrine read the letters, or write to her, seeing as it's too painful.
Years later, Y/N discovers her daughter has a peculiarity, and has to leave with her daughter to ensure her safety. So she goes the only place she can think of... Miss. Peregrine's new loop.
