When a scientist develops a machine that can communicate with the dead, a depressed son sees an opportunity to talk with his deceased mother only to find out about a dark afterlife, where a tyrant ruler tortures and oppresses those who have passed on. Desperate to save his mother and put an end to the tyrant's rule, the main character takes his own life and is reborn into the afterlife. He embarks on a journey to confront the tyrant ruler head-on. As he navigates this dangerous world, he must face his own fears and make the ultimate sacrifice to save those he loves.
