We were in a heap on the forest floor. I don't really know why, or what had happened, but suddenly he had rolled us over. Kneeling over me with a hold on both my hands.

His Raven hair was a mess as he spoke to me urgently. His voice was muffled, and didn't quite reach me as I stared up at him. He had a pale, freckled face, with the most striking red eyes. They always seemed to pour into mine like a waterfall of red wine.

He leaned in quickly, and then...
