there is a certain beauty in being able to write and not being able to speak, although it's not often that it's someone's first language

i wrote lots of these parts long ago then rewrote a bit later, and now 1.5 years after reworking it now i feel it could be published. i actually don't like some sections, but i know i am my own biggest critic and i think they would fit better here than any other book i may put out in the future. plus i have literally no idea what to write if i do remove any parts.

We've been friends since grade school. Best friends at that. Never did anything without each other. We can't imagine being separated. Well, actually, we can. For years, I've been writing in silence, creating worlds, characters, and stories that lived only in the margins of my notebooks and tucked-away folders on my computer. Writing has always been my escape, something I've done for myself-a way to step out of reality for a moment and breathe through the lives of the people I've imagined. I've written and rewritten countless stories, always hesitant to share them, never quite confident enough to let anyone else peek into the depths of my mind.
