Neroz from The Cursed and Chosen discovers a cryptic note from Nocturne, leading him to Mt. Ebott, where he hopes to talk his friend down from whatever darkness is pulling at him. When he arrives, Nocturne, driven by the voice of Runemaster, attacks with brutal force, their fight spilling to the mountain's edge. Neroz falls, but some sort of god spares him, leaving Nocturne torn between the humanity he longs for and the chains of the god who commands him.
