The Dance of the Ocean and Moon [Book Two]

This is a story set in George R.R. Martin's famed A Song of Fire and Ice series. It takes place in an alternate timeline in which Jon Snow and Sansa Stark returned to Castle Black after the Battle of the Bastards in Season 6.

Sansa and Jon send their trusted King's Guardsman, Brienne of Tarth, with her squire Podrick Payne, out into the isolated villages, towns, and Great Houses of the North, to recruit more soldiers for the Night's Watch. When the two find themselves in a bleak situation a strange ally appears. This new ally, by the name of Saga, may hold the key to winning the battles to come: A wealth of Dragon Glass.
Jon Snow aligns with this new ally in order to advance their chances of making it out of the Long Night alive. In the meantime, the conflict that has been plaguing the Kingdoms spills over into the Stark children's business and they are forced to face it at the same time. Spread thin, Brienne finds herself unable to cope with the threats from the North and South, worrying for her Lady's safety, and also learning how to deal with the feelings stirring inside her for the Stranger they met along the way.

This is Book Two in the story of Brienne and Saga. With Book One ending in tragedy for lovers, seemingly destined to always be apart, Brienne feels more desolate than ever. Even if Saga were still alive, the trust they once shared would now in shambles because of Brienne's inability to recognize her feelings. But she prays day and night to the New Gods, the Old Gods, the Lord of Light, the Drowned God, anyone that may be listening, just for the chance to try again. Will her prayers be answered and will she be able to overcome her own insecurities for the sake of love?

No matter how the story ends, this will be the final installment for Brienne and Saga.
