The world feels like it's going too fast for her with a mom that can't stop complaining, dad that only ever talks to ask her if she beat her PR at the latest meet, and maybe she should stop caring but it's hard. However, Denise wants a change. She wants to start being grateful but she's having a hard time with it.
It's the little things that got her worried and CARSON NORRIS doesn't exactly understand why. After football season ended, he decided to join his friends as they went to check out one of the meets their school held and Denise has been on his mind ever since. It's weird but he doesn't dislike it.
