"You've got to be kidding me..." I heard someone say in a low voice. I turned around and saw the goddess' gift to womankind. 
  (I'm being sarcastic but he might seriously be thinking that about himself. Why is he my mate? Goddess, why him of all people?)
  I could already see he doesn't want me.
  (Why don't I feel the pull of the bond? Aren't I suppose to shift my whole world to my mate?)
  Even though I was confused, this was perfect. He approached me.

"You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it.
