By the time Celine Ivers realized that the Hero didn't love her as much as she thought he did, she was already pushed into the arms of the one and only Noah Gutierrez, the one person she was fighting with the hero to win against. but when she looks up into her enemy's eyes, fearful of seeing the evil inside them, she's surprised to see them filled with an unknown emotion, an emotion far from evil but an emotion she couldn't quite pinpoint... ~~ "What is that emotion I see in your eyes?" She teased, her hands around her neck. "Love. A love so deep it could challenge the ocean's depth." he replied, holding her waist. "A love that deep in my enemy's eyes. Interesting." She added, closing the gap between their lips. ★AUTHOR NOTE: This is the first book I've ever written so please don't mind any mistakes and all, plus, it is very poorly written and is under constant editing, so read at your own risk. "Nothing. You didn't do anything," I whispered, turning my gaze back to the movie and intending to end the conversation there. He reached for my face with his left hand which was nearest to me, and gently turned it back to face him. The feel of his hands on my face, brought a whole new feeling to me. "Then why?" I held his hand firmly and removed it from my face. "Consider it natural," I said. Sure, immense hatred for someone could be natural. Unconsciously, my eyes moved down to his lips then back to his eyes. "That's not true." "Yes, it is," I said, still whispering, and trying to pay attention to the movie. "No, it isn't." He was being so argumentative. "There's something you're not telling me and I'm not gonna force you but I'm just gonna let you know that if you thought I'd give up on you so easily, you thought wrong, violet." My brows instantly furrowed in confusion and I turned my full attention to him. Is this guy insane? "What are you talking about?" He laughed a little, then relaxed back on the chair. "I think I'm addicted to you." *~* Avery, a teenager with an immense hate for males, finds her hatred breaking into pieces when she gets teamed up with charming Ian on the basketball team. Ian, on the other hand, while trying to satisfy his thriving queries as to why Avery behaved the way she did, finds himself falling completely for her as her past and reasons for her behaviour unfolds before him.
