She lost that feeling. That feeling of a home.
She had nowhere to go, so she went back.

But she didn't expect to live under one roof with:

1. Her best friend: Harry Potter
2. The charming and flirt: Theodore Nott
3. Her 7 year long slytherin rival: Draco Malfoy

She could get through this year, right?

"Mione, what is it?" Her eyes wandered to Harry, who was sitting next to her. There was confusion in his eyes.
"Oh- it's nothing. Malfoy and Theo were just staring at me." Hermione whispered to him

Hermione saw that she had drawn blood. Harry grabbed a cloth and moved closer to Hermione.
"They're still looking." He whispered while he took the cloth and softly cleaned her lip from the blood that was still there.

"Why did you do that?" Harry placed the cloth next to his plate and glanced at her.
"Look at them, Mione." Harry said while glancing over at the other side.
Malfoy was gripping Theo to stop him from going to their table. Theo's face was distorted into jealousy and a bit of anger towards Harry. Malfoy had the same expression but less angry and more jealous.

Breathing out, Hermione took his hand and said, "Valet in lucem." Draco wrinkled his nose, looking up at her confused. "Was that an insult?" Hermione rolled her eyes. "No Draco, it's an old saying in Latin." "Well I don't speak Latin 'Mione." She huffed. "I said, Light Prevails Malfoy, because it always does." Hermione thought he might try to argue with her again, make her red in the face with anger but Draco paused when he opened his mouth. She waited in anticipation. His features seemed to soften a little as he stared at the ground. When his eyes came back up to meet her, she thought she might get lost in his gaze. "Light prevails." Leaning in slowly, Draco kissed her on the lips and Hermionie pulled him in. -x- Draco Malfoy and Hermione Granger are far from friends, they're barely even acquaintances and if the two of them had their way, they would not be spending their final year at Hogwarts as Head Boy and Head Girl together. But as fate would have it, or rather McGonagoll, they are the top picks to keep the students at Hogwarts in check and out of harms way. Though the two of them might have something to say about that. Regardless, both Draco and Hermione accept their positions and try to move on from their old rivalry, close old wounds, and try to form some sort of friendship. But sometimes the past can't stay buried and old grudges die hard and despite not having to defeat a Dark Lord, their seventh year at Hogwarts may prove to be the hardest one yet. "You're a good friend, Hermione." She narrowed her eyes at him. "So we're on a first-name basis now?" He shrugged. "I feel it's only fair after spending every moment of our free time in a lab together. Also," he scratched at his chin in thought, "I'm pretty sure you're dating my best mate."
