The Aid

An aspiring singer's husband is killed in a freak accident that also permanently destroys her hearing, resulting in the need of a cochlear implant. But once she makes the purchase and gets the implant activated, she begins perceiving ghostly whispers through her device, leading her to believe that her deceased husband is trying to contact her from the dead, for whatever reason.
