16-year-old Jule Collins used to have a dream. A dream to be the best figure skater in the world. But after her best friend abruptly disappeared nine years ago, her life...stopped. She shut herself in, hid her emotions. She vowed to never rely on someone like that ever again. 

 As if Jule's life wasn't so pathetically woeful already, now her figure skating team has to share their ice rink with the local hockey team because they're out of money! And the worst part? Their new star player turns out to be a complete ass, egging on the feud between the skaters and the hockey players!  

 But as they get to know each other, Jule starts to realize that maybe, maybe, it wouldn't be so bad to thaw out her heart and love again.
