In a world ruled by ruthless corporate oligarchs and deadly games, one woman's battle will ignite a rebellion. 'Nova's Blade' - The ultimate fight for survival begins here.

In a world under the iron grip of the United Oligarchs of Earth, five families control the world's largest industries. Every service, including justice, is privatized, creating a bleak reality for the majority of the populace. The protagonist, Nova, is forcibly drafted into a grim televised spectacle - a death match tournament amongst kidnapped women known as the Valkyries. The victor of this brutal game wins a golden ticket to liberation and a life of luxury married to a member of the world's wealthiest families.

A bomb has been implanted in Nova and the Valkyries' heads, set to detonate if anyone dares to reveal the truth about the forced participation. Despite the odds, Nova forms an unlikely alliance, navigates treacherous paths, and fights against the show's cruel host who would do anything for a ratings boost.

Off-stage, covert investigations and conspiracies unravel, plunging deep into the underworld. Meanwhile, a terrorist group, Hades Legion, plans to dismantle the prevailing corporate order, their plans intertwined with Nova's destiny.

"Nova's Blade" distinguishes itself with a complex tapestry of power, woven by five dominant families, each entangled in their own intricate schemes and stratagems. The narrative unravels through different perspectives, deepening character nuances and gripping readers in a multifaceted exploration of this dystopian world. A unique intertwining of personal vendetta and overarching themes of corporate dominance and insurrection breathes fresh life into the genre. The novel serves as a stark critique of unbridled capitalism, casting a new, pertinent light on the dystopian landscape. The familiarity of the genre is thus reimagined, introducing a captivating and relevant narrative for today's readers

Centuries after the Fall, the United States has been wiped away. The crumbling remains of the great American empire are home now only to savage, lawless tribes and packs of ravening Damned-the twisted children of the apocalypse. Most of those few who survived humanity's destruction spend their short lives in a violent struggle for survival. But some light still flickers in the darkness: the Blessed of Bountiful live in seclusion, relying on walls both physical and spiritual to protect them from the Desolation that their world has become. Among them are the Saints, those few men and women born with superhuman abilities that the Blessed see as gifts from God. The violent apostate tribes of the Northeast Kingdom have always been a danger, but up until recently its small size and the vigilance of its people have made Bountiful an unappealing target. As attacks on the community grow harsher and more frequent, however, even the steadfast Blessed are forced to start preparing for the worst. With her home's very existence threatened, seventeen year old Ever Oaks, a Saint with the power to heal, is forced to make a difficult choice, one that may come to define her people's future... Exile was a semi-finalist in Mark Lawrence's Great Self-Published Fantasy Blog-Off (#SPFBO). Fantasy Faction said it was "extremely cool," and Bookish Lifestyle called it "more than just a story, a journey and an experience." Her most lethal weapon is herself . . . • • • Agent Eleven was always a loyal Agent for the Division. Until she wasn't. Running and going rogue a year ago had definitely put her on their hit list, but what happens when they find her again and force her back to the very world she ran from? Forced to join the elite team of Operatives and their domineering leader with a knack for watching her too closely, she has to tread lightly to finish what she started. Because little do the team know, they weren't the masterminds behind her return. And she isn't leaving again until she finds out the truth about what happened a year ago, and keep her identity a secret while she's at it. With a too hot for his own good leader, his best friend who seems to see too much and two seemingly innocent operatives by her side, will Agent Eleven uncover the truth? And what will she do once she realises she's captured the attention of the very serial killer her team is assigned to hunt? This plan might just be her stupidest yet, and it might just be the one that's gets her killed. • • • I watch from the corner of my eyes as he brings the dagger up to the straps of my top, slipping it under the thin fabric. "There's just a few things in my way." He hushes, dark eyes hooded. 13 parts Complete
In a desperate bid to save a dying Earth on the brink of ecological collapse, humanity opens a portal to the mysterious and magical world of Randland, hoping to conquer it and create a new home. But the leaders of Earth's shattered nations, in their desperation, take a darker path, wielding weapons of mass destruction and biological warfare, unleashing chaos on Randland in an attempt to force their will upon the land. At the center of this cosmic clash is Nova, a teenage girl born of artificial means and raised by her mothers aboard the abandoned International Space Station. As Earth's final hope, Nova is guided by a mysterious, ancient cosmic entity named Vera, who teaches her to wield the very essence of space and time. Nova's growing powers allow her to manipulate reality itself, but they also reveal a dark truth: the only way to heal Earth is by draining the magic from Randland. With the Earth restored, Nova realizes that despite her victory, the path she has taken has hurt innocent people in Randland. Consumed with guilt, she reopens the portals to Randland, not for vengeance, but to give the world a chance at redemption. Using her newfound cosmic energy, Nova begins to restore the land's magic and offer the people of Randland a chance to rebuild. As the portals stay open, the fragile balance between both worlds shifts. Earth's leaders must now learn to cooperate with Randland's inhabitants, embracing the lessons of peace and cooperation rather than domination and conquest. Nova, as both the savior and the guardian of this new era, must navigate the delicate threads of fate and help both worlds rebuild what has been broken, not through war, but through understanding and healing. The Threads of Redemption is a tale of cosmic power, guilt, and the complex journey toward redemption, where the boundaries between good and evil blur and the future of two worlds rests on the choices of one young girl.

I want to let him in, let him love me, let him fight for me. I want to fight for him. Will I get hurt again? Or will it be worth the hit? Liam: Nova Black is a total knockout-one I didn't see coming. The more time we spend together, my guard comes down. But hers only seems to go up. I want to be the person she needs, if she'll let me. Our chance encounter wasn't by chance at all, we're meant for each other-flaws, fears and all. She wants to run. But I always fight for what I want, and that's her. The Sapphire Shadow by James_Wake

"James Wake excels at writing action sequences. The book was jam-packed with nail biting moments. I felt like I was right beside Nadia as she fought, made quick decisions, and raced towards narrow escapes. The book is dark but realistic...Although this is not my typical genre, I'm glad I picked up this book. Nadia in particular is a wonderful character who brings panache to a gritty tale. " - Miranda Lynn, The Lesbian Review Nadia loves jewels. Big ones, small ones, red ones, blue ones. But her favorite variety is the illegally acquired. She has more than enough money to buy the best. That's never been the point. Shoplifting is her hobby, her escape. When her high school friend, Tess, offers to help her break into real burglary, how could she refuse? Tess is a technical genius - she designed and built her own right arm. Surely she can take down any security standing in their way to bigger and better loot. Outside the city walls, Jackson was raised in the slums. Life as a refugee was never easy, and the only way out was joining the army. Now she's a cop, finally living inside the old sea walls. She's supposed to be hunting Cheshire, a reclusive hacktivist stirring up unrest, but the nightly news is full of a smug young woman breaking the law and getting away with it, blowing kisses as she escapes police and private security. Theatrical, daring heists, thrilling to watch. And Jackson hates every minute of it. Meanwhile, the city they both call home is slowly tearing itself apart around them. Jackson crushes riot after riot, just part of the job. But more and more it feels wrong, hopeless, no point to any of it, no future for any of them. Nadia has given up on the future. But more and more people see her escapades and realize they can fight back. It doesn't make sense to Nadia, not at first, but an unlikely romance starts to show her that there could be some hope, even in a broken world.
