Elegant Intoxication (SALLYFACE)
Sal Fisher was just a young boy when he lost his mother, and his face. So young with so much trauma can really mess up your chance of a childhood. He's gotten used to being knocked down and made fun of, and he expected the same exact thing during his move to Nockfell. What he got instead, though, was a friend. The stereotypical bad boy; a stoner, a skater, a womanizer. But inside he's really a big softy; loves animals, the best shoulder to cry on, and a true artist. Sal fell in love with him quickly. It wasn't all good, though. The small town was small and scary- the normal "ghost town". Not many people lived in Nockfell, but for good reason. The town was a total freak show, not that Sal could talk. It was full of decay and death, and had an excruciatingly dark past. Larry himself believed that something about the town was off, though he kept a skeptical mindset. When the group of Ashley, Todd, Sal, and Larry all start sticking their noses in places they ought not be, what will happen? Will Larry find his father, or something much, much worse? He met Larry Johnson his now best friend who introduced him to all his friend's. When school started everything was going smoothly until Travis Phelps the local priests son started bully Sal and his friend's calling them homos and an array of awful things. Sal screamed so loudly that it hurt Travis's ears and echoed in his head for several minutes after it had finished. The sound was unlike anything he'd ever heard on TV, unlike anything he'd ever made when his father beat him. It was visceral, primal.
