After Steven has established peace across the universe, defective Gems are given the chance to become a member of society on little home world. Among these defective Gems is a dark blue Sapphire who stands a little taller than other Sapphires. Having being labeled defective immediately after emerging from her Gem, she was bubbled. Now after so many countless years trapped, all she wants to do is prove herself as a perfect Sapphire, despite her differences.
Back on Home world, White Diamond has made the decision to wake up her old White Pearl. Finally being able to control her own body and mind, White Pearl is having a hard time adjusting and takes the opportunity to visit Earth as a chance to find herself after spending so long either controlled or bubbled.
Through the many obstacles these two will have to overcome to heal, perhaps finding each other is what they both need.

It was tough work healing all of Beach City. From the land to the settlements, all that was wrecked has now been rebuilt stronger and better than ever. But despite the prosperity, Steven misses Spinel more than he'll ever admit. Eventually, he's had enough and decides to go visit her on Homeworld. The question is though, is this feeling due to being separated from a new friend or is it fact something much deeper? Steven must find out soon because no adventure for him is without conflict and some such conflict is lurking around waiting to strike when he least expects it. The Strange Gem ( Gem!Reader x Steven Universe Various)
VERY VERY VERY VERY SLOW UPDATES! Many years ago, a gem emerged on the homeworld near the diamond palace. Pink, being the first one to recognize a gem emerging, told the other 3 diamonds about the information. As all four of them watched the new gem merge, it was discovered that the gem was born with two gems instead of one. Instead of shattering the gem, white diamond decided to keep them as they were a rare cut gem with an abnormal two gems instead of one. After the discovery, they decided to name the gem, Y/N. Y/N soon lived underneath the Diamonds and was treated as if she was a diamond herself. After Pink shattered, Y/N was heavily protected and had a harness around her at all times, always around either the diamonds or heavily guarded by two topazes and a jasper. After being allowed to roam around the Gem Warship, she was stopped by Steven who convinced her to help him find his friends and escape. After the explosion, she was founded by The Crystal Gems and was officially their 'hostage'. From being heavily guarded and kept within eyes sight and inside her whole life into being outside and experiencing many different emotions for the first time. This is when her story begins.
