Rami Chandra is Not a Vampire

When Alaric Cross's fellow vampire and dearest friend Damos Eder passed away, he expected to be left with perhaps some words of wisdom and a couple of thousand galleons, or even that fine leather jacket that he used to wear. Instead, Alaric is left with a baby, becoming the legal and only guardian of Damos' illegitimate son, Param Chandra.

On the day of his 11th birthday, Param receives his invitation to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry and is forced further into the world of witches and wizards. Made to keep his lineage a secret from his friends and peers, Rami struggles with learning to control his magic while balancing his manifesting vampire traits.

However, Param Chandra is now fifteen and is faced with his most confronting challenge yet as he captures the attention of the newly appointed Gryffindor prefect, Remus Lupin, who keeps insisting that there is something seriously strange about Rami Chandra. Despite Lupin's suspicions, Param is determined to prove that he is just an ordinary wizard and not a threat to the Hogwarts community. However, as strange occurrences begin to happen around him, Param starts to question if there is more to his magic than he ever realised.
