She was rescued and left at a hospital. No records of a Grace Rose exist anywhere on earth.
For a year after her rescue Grace has dreams of Loki the mad Prince of Asgard, "Come to me my Sæta. Come find me."
Caving to the unusual pull she requests an interview and to her surprise it's granted, "Miss Rose my name is Agent Phil Coulson. I'm here to take you to see Loki."
