The second Sarah McCauley stepped over the threshold of the Burrow, bruised arm and heart, she knew it would become a special place to her. The second she met the Weasleys, she knew they will become the people she cares most for. It didn't take long to realize the twins had met their match. From that moment started a never-ending whirlwind of chases, play fights and bickering, building up to forming a formidable trio.
All the while she and Fred, her best friend also Co-Trouble-Maker-in-Chief, slowly fall for each other. Falling for their best friend. What could be more idiotic?
As if another complication was needed.
Time goes by and the mystery surrounding her past and that dreadful Halloween night still fills her heart. What happened that led up to that night? That night that left her marooned on the wooden floor.
And what will happen now that winds of war come about once again?
