In a life where each clan must hunt to survive, nothing is ever calm. Peace is impossible, especially since the fights over territory have begun to get more frequent between TwilightClan and their neighbouring clan, DawnClan.
Amidst all the fowl, cruel things life has set upon these cats, lurks the heart of the evil, yet also, a cat who yearns for peace. He longs for a sense of justice, a true feeling of love and respect gained from his clan around him. His name is Badgerkit, a small, young kit in a big, wide-open world.
Sounds simple, doesn't it? Not as easy as it sounds when a vile cat becomes obsessed with poor Badgerkit, and his mentor doesn't exactly obey the clan rules...
His life is much harder than meets the eyes once you step deeper.
That's why I'm inviting you, the reader, to wander into Badgerstar's past, to see how he came from being a tiny, pathetic kit to a powerful, headstrong leader.

She loves her clanmates dearly, but the clan deputy seems to watch their every move, just waiting for any cat to slip up. But it's the clan she was raised in. So, she should be loyal to them, right? Keenkit always figured he and his littermates were normal kits who would all become apprentices and be able to train together. But when a strange cat takes his sister out of StreamClan on the day of their apprentice ceremony, he quickly realizes such hope has become impossible. Sunpaw just wants to prove to his clan, BreezeClan that he can become a great warrior. But it isn't as easy as it sounds. Even though his rival apprentice Slowpaw is much younger than him, he is always beaten in battle training and he can never catch nearly as much prey. His mentor doesn't make it any better either. Pounceheart is always treating him like some helpless kit and he worries he'll never be able to complete his warrior assessment. Being a healer who suffers from severe anxiety isn't easy, but Twitchpaw knows as long as her mentor is there, she can get through it. Rockpaw feels like an outcast, everyday being hated on by his Clanmates for seeing things differently. So when the chance to prove them wrong comes up, he doesn't give it a second thought. But the evil still resides, and Rockpaw might know more about it then he's letting on, even to himself. Greyshard, as a former kittypet, has always thought of life in the Clans as challenging. He is strong and independent, but his morals quickly change when he is visited by the most hated cat in all of the Clans. ***DISCLAIMER*** The time gap between Chapter 7 and Chapter 8 is literally a YEAR, so, I must warn you that the cleanliness of Chapter 8 and onwards completely emulates the first seven chapters of this book. I certainly don't think that they are BAD, but I am definitely going to fix them up once I've got more time (just some little grammar tweaks, updating plot points, and fixing some dialogue). So, just keep that in mind when you read this. I hope you still enjoy!
