Jade isn't a hero. She doesn't want the cape, the glory, or the moral high ground. She just wants to watch things burn and maybe look cool while doing it.
When Riah(Ronin), the school's favorite punching bag, gets cornered by bullies, Jade doesn't save him out of the goodness of her heart. She saves him because she needs a sidekick. Before Ronin can say "thank you," Jade has tricked him into a cross-country runaway pact with one goal: becoming the world's most feared antiheroes.
But the "real world" is much darker than Jade's comic book fantasies. Between bloodthirsty thugs, actual psychopaths, and a growing list of people who want them dead, Ronin is starting to realize he didn't just escape his bullies... he joined a much bigger one.
