Suddenly I feel a cold metal pressed into my warm skin. My breath hangs in the air, my body frozen, eyes wide with shock. 

"P-please stop" I stammer, my voice trembling. 

"Scared?" his deep callous voice responds, pushing the knife deeper. The fear in my eyes only seems to amuse him. 
 
I start to shake uncontrollably, dread coursing through me as his gaze pierces my soul.  "Scared already?" he taunts, his tone laced with dark amusement. 

 Who is this man and how did he get in?

 Desperate, I try push him away but fail. In an instant, he slams me against the wall, leaving me breathless and terrified as beads of sweat form on my forehead.
