Evan knows he messed up. He knows it he knows it he knows it. It's one of the only things he knows at this point.
He needs something else. Anything to distract him from the things he's done.
Jared knows he messed up. He should have shut up and helped Evan in any other way. He could have helped. Then things wouldn't have been so messy. But he had to write those stupid e-mails. And now he needs help. Anything to distract him from his mistakes.
We all know how things went down.
Evan and Jared aren't friends- family friends anymore.
Even if that's what they both wanted and needed, in the before.
Could one chance encounter change that?
Maybe they don't have to be broken anymore.
Maybe they can learn what it means to truly be healed.
