JJ a Louisiana cop, turned hit man to take out his brother's killer. In doing so, JJ finds out he also must take on a worldwide criminal enterprise and recruits the help of a few friends along the way. will he find justice and redemption?
The series focuses on JJ Simoneaux and his group of friends that band together to take down the Alvarez cartel and its US Government aid to prevent a united worldwide criminal organization.
In Book one we see the Cajun start off as a law enforcement officer in the small town of New Iberia Louisiana. The Job slowly deteriorates his morals as well as strains on his relationship with his family, friends, girlfriend.
In Mexico, Marina Alvarez is next in line for the Family cartel business. Marina's father entrusts her as well as Kevin O'Neil, A CIA agent, to insure the Cartel's success. The Cartel, US shadow government, as well as other world criminals come together to form one strong structure to oversee and govern all criminal activities. This ultimately leads to the development of the Seven devils, A small group of hitmen, and mercenary to oversee the success in this goal.
The cartel's business spills over onto the small Louisiana town as JJ's brother Sean, a fellow officer himself, is killed in the line of duty by Marina and one of the US Government's congressmen. The once carefree and Christian spirited JJ loses it and goes after the people responsible for the death of his brother. After killing the congressman, and fleeing the state, JJ is approached by Kevin.
Kevin convinces JJ to join the very cartel responsible for his brother's death in able to take them down from the inside. JJ later joins the Seven Devils and meets Nathaniel Steel, an ex-navy seal. The two create an awkward bond.

Myla and Jeremiah are now in their late 30's to 40's along with the other OG characters. Their younger kids, Jordan is now 17, Marco 15, and Baby Toni is now 5. They also had a new baby and yes it was a boy and his name is Sincere Florida Evans who is two years old. Obviously they wanted the name to remind them of Miami, their passed away son. Myla and the rest of the family are very more secluded from everything and living in peace. No drugs, no gangs, no shootings they are finally at ease. Can't say the same for Arie and Akira as they continue to meet and also deal with people who are very much involved in those things.
