In 1975, Persephone, a spacecraft prepared to travel farther than any human vessel ever before, was launched. After six months, it vanished without a trace.
65 years later, on February 14th, a smoking crater was created in Norway- and with it came an organism previously unseen by earth-life. But this alien was not without its faults, it was parasitic, latching on to any form of life it could, destroying and mutating the victim from the inside out. It became known as the 'Eros Virus' and the disaster that ensued as "Valentine's Day".
