Childe and Lumine had a pact, 'Scaramouche is off-limits'.
They were comrades in their unrequited love, and it's not like their feelings will be reciprocated anyway. They even thought about getting together since waiting for Scaramouche was futile. It all changed one day when Scramouche suddenly embraced them, spouting some nonsense that 'he was back'.
