This triggered Jean to run off and join the war in hopes to find the men who were responsible. In doing so Jean defects from the confederate army and continues his search for the men responsible for his wife's death. Thus, law and order change drastically in the years that have gone by. Even with this power among the people, there was always evil that showed up. With evil continuing to lurk the streets everywhere, there had to be something that kept the good guys prepared for the battles to come. A lot of schools were developed across the world and the most prestigious one was UA in Japan. Known for having All Might and many others as students, this school was the top of the line. Y/n Black, a rancher that lives on the outskirts of Wickett, Texas, lived quite a different life than a lot of people think a rancher would do. Y/n was gifted the ability to slow down time in his own eyes, his quirk was called Dead Eye. Dead Eye came in handy when having to round up the herd of cattle or horses, but Y/n also used his ability to fight against the evil that lurked amongst his town and state. You see, Y/n wasn't just good at seeing things in slow motion, he was a damn good gunslinger as well. He happened to be so skilled that people began to believe his "quirk" was marksmanship, but that wasn't the case. For Y/n's path to UA high, one afternoon to run an errand for his Ma, changed his life. Thing is, can Y/n shoot his way out of trouble at UA? A down to earth cowboy with a past is thrown into the supernatural world, when he falls for a vampire who has demons of his own. Daryl's a bullfighter on the national circuit, stretching his pay check as far as it will go between himself and his brother's farm back in Texas. He also has the misfortune of being incredibly unlucky in love and stumbles into the wrong bar trying to forget a night he can only half remember. The bartender tells him to not go looking for trouble, but amongst the dark shadows and beautiful faces, it finds him in the form of Ryker. Ryker isn't known for being a nice guy. He's got a line that most people would believe is too malleable, but he is one of the good guys. Always shooting off his mouth at the wrong time or getting himself into fights he should avoid (but can handle) he sees the cowboy and goes in search of a fight. But neither man is prepared for the battle of wills and emotions that ensue from their broken attempts at understanding whatever it is that draws them together time and again. The more Daryl is drawn into Ryker's dark world, the more obvious it is that the Cowboy's half forgotten past may be more related to the shadow games and machinations of the very agency that has been trying to kill Ryker and the rest of the supernatural world for decades now. Mature themes. Violence, Swears. (Based in the universe of @Whiskeyjanedoe 's Breaking series. This is a little more than a love story) cover by @whiskeyjanedoe
