She was just a child when she saw, with her own eyes, her father die in the most brutal racing accident. It's a very famous incident but for the wrong reasons. The trauma of that day had stayed with her all her life.

Now, Valerie is shaking up the F1 world, as a woman, at just 19 years old.
Valerie had worked hard for the moment. A call from an F1 team came, offering her a seat. She was elated and couldn't believe her luck. Little did she know that this was just the start of her journey to becoming the newest sensation in the F1 world.

Her first day on the team was a whirlwind as news of her being the daughter of the driver who had a horrific crash years ago had quickly spread.

With her father's legacy in mind and the support of a legendary driver, Lewis Hamilton, Valerie is ready to make her mark on the racing world. For her father.

-

Ever since she began her racing career at 14 (in F3), she had vowed to win a championship dedicated to her father. Her first championship. Vowed to win the 7th world championship that Valerie's father deserved. The championship he was seconds away from earning.

Through her F1 journey, she will have to confront her deepest emotions, make difficult decisions, face the consequences of her mistakes, and create allies and enemies.

Will she be able to overcome these obstacles and succeed- become a world champion one day?

WATTPAD BOOKS EDITION There are imperfect moments in every life-but sometimes, there are perfect accidents . . . What's the point of pretending nothing has changed when everything has? It's the last summer before college, and Jonas Avery knows he should be excited. Instead, he hides out at home, avoiding his friends, his family, and everything that resembles his old life. Because nothing will be normal again-because of The Accident, when everything started falling apart. Brennan Davis knows she needs to stand up and face her anxiety-the deep, dark, debilitating dread that rules her everyday life. Because what stops her from going out into the world and just living is going to get a whole lot worse. She's leaving for college in the fall, where she'll be confronted with even more to worry about. To get back up sometimes you have to fall down, hard . . . When Jonas crashes into Brennan-in a harmless, albeit embarrassing fender bender-the two teens connect in ways they never expected. As friends, they help each other overcome their biggest falls and faults, and soon discover that while love can't fix everything, it's sometimes a place to start. Sensitive, wry, and unabashedly authentic, The Opposite of Falling Apart isn't about finding perfection in another person or fixing the things we think are broken. Instead, Micah Good has penned an enchantingly honest novel about accepting the very pieces of ourselves that make us unique, whole, and undeniably human.
